Sometimes, SEO ‘professionals’ will suggest using ‘black-hat’ or ‘gray-hat’ methods – things to trick the search engines into ranking your site more favorably. John was firm in his counsel to NOT employ those methods, but to make your site more attractive to search engines by making it more useful to actual humans.
In one specific case, by using some of John’s simple recommendations, we saw a 50% jump in traffic within a few months!
John does a great job on the detailed reports that he delivered to us, but that’s not the limit of his value. Throughout the process, he gave out ‘freebies’ – little pieces of wisdom gained through his years in marketing. He was very personable and punctual at every meeting that he was involved in.
